Barjeel Geojit is all set to enter into real estate brokerage sector. Barjeel Geojit is now planning to set up a real estate brokerage firm for this.

Barjeel Geojit Securities is a joint venture between Sheikh Sultan bin Saud Al Qassemi and Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Limited. Sheikh Sultan bin Saud Al Qassemi is the chairman of the firm which offers a number of value added services to its clients.

By setting up a real estate brokerage firm, Barjeel Geojit aims to help the people to buy properties in India and UAE.

Speaking about the new venture of BGS, chairman told media persons that the aim of this new entity is to help the people in their buying and selling needs.

Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) will be the main focus. The new entity is launched with the purpose of providing more value added services to qualified foreign investors.

Over the years, Barjeel Geojit has established a very strong presence in the UAE. They have now offices in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. This has really helped us earn customers’ trust, said the BGS chairman to the reporters.

The UAE based Sheikh has diversified presence in real estate and construction sectors. Besides he has a strong interest in investments.

Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services’ managing director C.J. George said that the group will continue to support Barjeel Geojit. He added that this support will be extended the new ventures of the group as well and that it aims to provide the best and latest financial solutions to its clients.

Geojit BNP Paribas, one of the most prominent retail stock brokers in India, has strong presence in the Middle East. Securities and Commodities Authority of the UAE regulates the group here.

The group is also a member of Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange. The group has entered into joint contract with Sheikh Sultan bin Saud Al Qassemi twelve years before. Since then they are jointly delivering better services to their clients.
