Rajkot sees increasing demand for top-end residence and villas.

GUJARAT: After Ahmedabad and Surat, now it has become the turn of Rajkot. Real estate market is picking up very fast in the city, making it one of the top real estate markets in the state.

Property prices have been rising in the city consistently for the last three quarters. With its gates keeping open to the IT and ITeS companies, the city expects to provide more jobs to the people. The demand for housing units will be more.

Rajkot-based Swastik Properties’ Chintan Vohra said that the most preferred housing units in the area is 2 BHK. He adds that those properties which fall between Rs.35 to Rs.50 lakh are also highly demanded.

Neighborhood localities like Kalavad Road, University Road and Yagnik Road are turning hot home destinations. These areas see maximum demand and supply.

There is higher demand for top-end housing units in Rajkot.

There has been an appreciable and improving demand for ultra-luxury and top-end projects as well. A new posh area is being developed along the 150ft Ring Road. The new area is known as New Rajkot.

This area has some of the top premium projects. However the prices are also reasonable and not so high.

Top Real Estate Management & Constructions’ Mayur Modi revealed that there is a high demand for top end projects. He added that the demand is mainly raised by the top earners of the city including NRIs, HNIs and other business class people.

Some of the projects in the area have most modern facilities and specifications. These projects remain capable of providing world-class life to the residents.

Dhanraj Builders Private Limited, Rajpath Builders, Realty Management Co (P) Ltd and Shivalik Builders are some of the top builders of the area. They all are engaged in developing projects which provide top-end life to the residents.
