Noida Authority has, on last Friday, said that they are planning to construct two bridges across the Yamuna to facilitate better connectivity between Noida and Faridabad.
DELHI NCR: Noida Authority believes that the troubles of the daily commuters of Noida will be cut short if two bridges across the Yamuna are built. With this proposal the authority has approached Haryana Urban Development Authority.
The Noida Authority plans to complete the project as soon as possible. They have sought ways from HUDA to speed up the project. Two bridges are to be built along the Noida sectors 150 and 168.
As per the available sources, HUDA in Faridabad has already sought the approvals from the central and Chandigarh town planning department for the bridges project.
A meeting is likely to be held in the first week of May. The details of the project will be explained during this meeting.
With the bridges, the Noida Authority aims to remove the expected congestion on roads. Moreover it will cut short the travelling hours and difficulties of the daily commuters.
If Haryana Authorities including HUDA show the same spirit of dedication, the project will soon be a reality. The next step will soon be reached, said a senior official in the Noida Authority.
Now the residents of Ghaziabad have to go through Delhi to reach Faridabad. There is no other option for the residents of Hapur, Noida and Greater Noida as well.
With one bridge connecting FNG Expressway with Haryana, the residents of all these areas can directly go to Faridabad. Thus in short they will save a lot of time.
Realty developers are also pushing for the bridges. They are sure that the bridges will boost the realty sector in these areas.
Pointing to the huge boost which the Noida and Greater Noida areas received with the launch of Expressways, The 3C Company sales and marketing director Brijesh Bhanote said that it will certainly boost the real estate in these areas.
