When India was in the F1 mood, Homestead Real Estate brought in Michael Schumacher to endorse its debut real estate project in India. Honoring the seven times F1 world champion their superior class luxury project at Sector-109, Gurgaon is named ‘Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower.’
Michael Schumacher World Champion Tower perfectly suits a sporty lifestyle. The F1 legend said that the floors of the project will be called ‘laps’ which resemble the ‘laps of F1 race’. This single towered residential project has a helipad, cafe and museum. These are especially dedicated to the F1 legend.
Tennis glamour queen came to India in association with real estate firm Homestead- India. She will endorse one of the upcoming projects of the firm. The real estate firm has not revealed the name of their project which the tennis star will endorse.
Recent trends show that international sports legends and icons are sacked in to foster business in India. These world stars represent top-end life in particular. This might be the reason why real estate now opts for global stars. Homestead- India’s COO Mr. Manoj Shrivastava said that their projects are designed for people of top- end class.
Indian Cricket stars like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir are endorsing real estate firms. Indian Captain endorses Amrapali Real Estate Group while Gautam Gambhir endorses Rudra Buildwell.
Bollywood stars also remain favorites. Many Bollywood stars are endorsed by real estate developers. Shah Rukh Khan’s endorsement with Mahagun real estate firm is an example.
By getting into endorsement with global stars, Homestead- India stands one step ahead to others. However it is to be noted that both these global stars endorse only one- project each of the group. On the other hand, Indian stars are bagged for the entire projects of their groups.
Football global star Diego Maradona came to India to open up a gold showroom of Kerala’s Chemmanur International Jewelers. Bobby Chemmanur managing director of Chemmanur International Jewelers brought the Argentine football legend to open up their show room in Kannur. The ever- time great footballer had opened their jewelry showroom in Dubai last year.
The presence of sports icons endorsing real estate projects is considered as an attempt of the real estate builders to revive their sluggish markets.
Sports lifestyle has become the trend. US Open Apartments by Nirmal Lifestyle is an example of this. The builders have launched this project at Mulund, a suburb in Mumbai. The project is well equipped with international standard sports facilities.
Real estate developers’ tie ups with the global stars should well be considered as their plan to conquer the field. The developers think that they can stand steps ahead to its competitors.
